Hybrid Heist

In a land fraught with tension, Esau takes a Hittite wife, Judith, a decision that brings heartache to his parents, Isaac and Rebekah. Meanwhile, Timna, rejected by Jacob and his sons, finds herself as a concubine to Esau’s son Eliphaz, giving birth to the infamous Amalek. The wilderness reveals its own mysteries when Anah, while tending his father’s donkeys, encounters a terrifying storm and grotesque creatures—part human, part beast—who steal the donkeys and vanish into the unknown. Stricken with fear, Anah recounts his harrowing tale, and from that day, neither he nor his family dare return to the haunted wilderness.

32 And those animals, from their middle downward, were in the shape of the children of men, and from their middle upward, some had the likeness of bears, and some the likeness of the keephas, with tails behind them from between their shoulders reaching down to the earth, like the tails of the ducheephath, and these animals came and mounted and rode upon these asses, and led them away, and they went away unto this day.
