YHWH calls Enoch out of retirement, teaches him wisdom, and Enoch becomes kingi
Jasher 3:3-12
3 And it was at the expiration of many years, whilst he was serving the Lord, and praying before him in his house, that an angel of the Lord called to him from Heaven, and he said, Here am I.
4 And he said, Rise, go forth from thy house and from the place where thou dost hide thyself, and appear to the sons of men, in order that thou mayest teach them the way in which they should go and the work which they must accomplish to enter in the ways of God.
5 And Enoch rose up according to the word of the Lord, and went forth from his house, from his place and from the chamber in which he was concealed; and he went to the sons of men and taught them the ways of the Lord, and at that time assembled the sons of men and acquainted them with the instruction of the Lord.
6 And he ordered it to be proclaimed in all places where the sons of men dwelt, saying, Where is the man who wishes to know the ways of the Lord and good works? Let him come to Enoch.
7 And all the sons of men then assembled to him, for all who desired this thing went to Enoch, and Enoch reigned over the sons of men according to the word of the Lord, and they came and bowed to him and they heard his word.
8 And the spirit of God was upon Enoch, and he taught all his men the wisdom of God and his ways, and the sons of men served the Lord all the days of Enoch, and they came to hear his wisdom.
9 And all the kings of the sons of men, both first and last, together with their princes and judges, came to Enoch when they heard of his wisdom, and they bowed down to him, and they also required of Enoch to reign over them, to which he consented.
10 And they assembled in all, one hundred and thirty kings and princes, and they made Enoch king over them and they were all under his power and command.
11 And Enoch taught them wisdom, knowledge, and the ways of the Lord; and he made peace amongst them, and peace was throughout the earth during the life of Enoch.
12 And Enoch reigned over the sons of men two hundred and forty-three years, and he did justice and righteousness with all his people, and he led them in the ways of the Lord.
Enoch learns to write, learns special wisdom, and prophesies
Jubilees 4:17-19
17 And he was the first among men that are born on earth who learnt writing and knowledge and wisdom and who wrote down the signs of heaven according to the order of their months in a book, that men might know the seasons of the years according to the order of their separate months.
18 And he was the first to write a testimony and he testified to the sons of men among the generations of the earth, and recounted the weeks of the jubilees, and made known to them the days of the years, and set in order the months and recounted the Sabbaths of the years as we made (them), known to him.
19 And what was and what will be he saw in a vision of his sleep, as it will happen to the children of men throughout their generations until the day of judgment; he saw and understood everything, and wrote his testimony, and placed the testimony on earth for all the children of men and for their generations.
Enoch spends time with the angels of God
Jubilees 4:21
21 And he was moreover with the angels of God these six jubilees of years, and they showed him everything which is on earth and in the heavens, the rule of the sun, and he wrote down everything.
Enoch's prophecy of the end timesii, iii
Enoch 1:1-9
1 The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and righteous, who will be
2 living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed. And he took up his parable and said -Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is
3 for to come. Concerning the elect I said, and took up my parable concerning them: The Holy Great One will come forth from His dwelling,
4 And the eternal God will tread upon the earth, (even) on Mount Sinai, [And appear from His camp] And appear in the strength of His might from the heaven of heavens.
5 And all shall be smitten with fear And the Watchers shall quake, And great fear and trembling shall seize them unto the ends of the earth.
6 And the high mountains shall be shaken, And the high hills shall be made low, And shall melt like wax before the flame
7 And the earth shall be wholly rent in sunder, And all that is upon the earth shall perish, And there shall be a judgement upon all (men).
8 But with the righteous He will make peace. And will protect the elect, And mercy shall be upon them. And they shall all belong to God, And they shall be prospered, And they shall all be blessed. And He will help them all, And light shall appear unto them, And He will make peace with them’.
9 And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of His holy ones To execute judgement upon all, And to destroy all the ungodly: And to convict all flesh of all the works of their ungodliness which they have ungodly committed, And of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.
Enoch called to testify against the Watchers
Enoch 12:1-6
1 Before these things Enoch was hidden, and no one of the children of men knew where he was hidden, and where he abode, and what had become of him.
2 And his activities had to do with the Watchers, and his days were with the holy ones.
3 And I, Enoch was blessing the Lord of majesty and the King of the ages, and lo! the Watchers called me–Enoch the scribe–and said to me:
4 ‘Enoch, thou scribe of righteousness, go, †declare† to the Watchers of the heaven who have left the high heaven, the holy eternal place, and have defiled themselves with women, and have done as the children of earth do, and have taken unto themselves wives: “Ye have wrought great destruction on the earth:
5 And ye shall have no peace nor forgiveness of sin: and inasmuch as †they† delight themselves in †their† children,
6 The murder of †their† beloved ones shall †they† see, and over the destruction of †their† children shall †they† lament, and shall make supplication unto eternity, but mercy and peace shall ye not attain.”‘
Enoch testifies against the Watchers
Jubilees 4:22
22 And he testified to the Watchers, who had sinned with the daughters of men; for these had begun to unite themselves, so as to be defiled, with the daughters of men, and Enoch testified against (them) all.
Enoch 13:1-10
1 And Enoch went and said: ‘Azâzêl, thou shalt have no peace: a severe sentence has gone forth against thee to put thee in bonds:
2 And thou shalt not have toleration nor †request† granted to thee, because of the unrighteousness which thou hast taught, and because of all the works of godlessness and unrighteousness and sin which thou hast shown to men.’
3 Then I went and spoke to them all together, and they were all afraid, and fear and trembling seized them.
4 And they besought me to draw up a petition for them that they might find forgiveness, and to read their petition in the presence of the Lord of heaven.
5 For from thenceforward they could not speak (with Him) nor lift up their eyes to heaven for shame of their sins for which they had been condemned.
6 Then I wrote out their petition, and the prayer in regard to their spirits and their deeds individually and in regard to their requests that they should have forgiveness and length 〈of days〉†.
7 And I went off and sat down at the waters of Dan, in the land of Dan, to the south of the west of Hermon: I read their petition till I fell asleep.
8 And behold a dream came to me, and visions fell down upon me, and I saw visions of chastisement, ⌈and a voice came bidding (me)⌉ I to tell it to the sons of heaven, and reprimand them.
9 And when I awaked, I came unto them, and they were all sitting gathered together, weeping in ’Abelsjâîl, which is between Lebanon and Sênêsêr, with their faces covered.
10 And I recounted before them all the visions which I had seen in sleep, and I began to speak the words of righteousness, and to reprimand the heavenly Watchers.
Enoch's dream about the Watchers
Enoch 14:1-25
1 The book of the words of righteousness, and of the reprimand of the eternal Watchers in accordance with the command of the Holy Great One in that vision.
2 I saw in my sleep what I will now say with a tongue of flesh and with the breath of my mouth: which the Great One has given to men to converse therewith and understand with the heart.
3 As He has created and given ⌈⌈to man the power of understanding the word of wisdom, so hath He created me also and given⌉⌉ me the power of reprimanding the Watchers, the children of heaven.
4 I wrote out your petition, and in my vision it appeared thus, that your petition will not be granted unto you ⌈⌈throughout all the days of eternity, and that judgement has been finally passed upon you: yea (your petition) will not be granted unto you⌉⌉.
5 And from henceforth you shall not ascend into heaven unto all eternity, and ⌈in bonds⌉ of the earth the decree has gone forth to bind you for all the days of the world.
6 And (that) previously you shall have seen the destruction of your beloved sons and ye shall have no pleasure in them, but they shall fall before you by the sword.
7 And your petition on their behalf shall not be granted, nor yet on your own: even though you weep and pray and speak all the words contained in the writing which I have written.
8 And the vision was shown to me thus: Behold, in the vision clouds invited me and a mist summoned me, and the course of the stars and the lightnings sped and hastened me, and the winds in the vision caused me to fly and lifted me upward, and bore me into heaven.
9 And I went in till I drew nigh to a wall which is built of crystals and surrounded by tongues of fire: and it began to affright me. And I went into the tongues of fire and drew nigh to a large house which was built of crystals: and the walls of the house were like a tesselated floor (made) of crystals, and its groundwork was of crystal.
11 Its ceiling was like the path of the stars and the lightnings, and between them were fiery cherubim, and their heaven was (clear as) water.
12 A flaming fire surrounded the walls, and its portals blazed with fire.
13 And I entered into that house, and it was hot as fire and cold as ice: there were no delights of life therein: fear covered me, and trembling got hold upon me.
14 And as I quaked and trembled, I fell upon my face.
15 And I beheld a vision, And lo! there was a second house, greater than the former, and the entire portal stood open before me, and it was built of flames of fire.
16 And in every respect it so excelled in splendour and magnificence and extent that I cannot describe to you its splendour and its extent.
17 And its floor was of fire, and above it were lightnings and the path of the stars, and its ceiling also was flaming fire.
18 And I looked and saw ⌈⌈therein⌉⌉ a lofty throne: its appearance was as crystal, and the wheels thereof as the shining sun, and there was the vision of cherubim.
19 And from underneath the throne came streams of flaming fire so that I could not look thereon.
20 And the Great Glory sat thereon, and His raiment shone more brightly than the sun and was whiter than any snow.
21 None of the angels could enter and could behold His face by reason of the magnificence and glory and no flesh could behold Him.
22 The flaming fire was round about Him, and a great fire stood before Him, and none around could draw nigh Him: ten thousand times ten thousand (stood) before Him, yet He needed no counselor.
23 And the most holy ones who were nigh to Him did not leave by night nor depart from Him.
24 And until then I had been prostrate on my face, trembling: and the Lord called me with His own mouth, and said to me: ‘Come hither, Enoch, and hear my word.’
25 ⌈And one of the holy ones came to me and waked me⌉, and He made me rise up and approach the door: and I bowed my face downwards.
The judgment against the Watchers and the origin of demonsiv
Enoch 15:1-11
1 And He answered and said to me, and I heard His voice: ‘Fear not, Enoch, thou righteous man and scribe of righteousness: approach hither and hear my voice.
2 And go, say to ⌈⌈the Watchers of heaven⌉⌉, who have sent thee to intercede ⌈⌈for them: “You should intercede”⌉⌉ for men, and not men for you:
3 Wherefore have ye left the high, holy, and eternal heaven, and lain with women, and defiled yourselves with the daughters of men and taken to yourselves wives, and done like the children of earth, and begotten giants (as your) sons?
4 And though ye were holy, spiritual, living the eternal life, you have defiled yourselves with the blood of women, and have begotten (children) with the blood of flesh, and, as the children of men, have lusted after flesh and blood as those ⌈also⌉ do who die and perish.
5 Therefore have I given them wives also that they might impregnate them, and beget children by them, that thus nothing might be wanting to them on earth.
6 But you were ⌈formerly⌉ spiritual, living the eternal life, and immortal for all generations of the world.
7 And therefore I have not appointed wives for you; for as for the spiritual ones of the heaven, in heaven is their dwelling.
8 And now, the giants, who are produced from the spirits and flesh, shall be called evil spirits upon the earth, and on the earth shall be their dwelling.
9 Evil spirits have proceeded from their bodies; because they are born from men, ⌈⌈and⌉⌉ from the holy Watchers is their beginning and primal origin; ⌈they shall be evil spirits on earth, and⌉ evil spirits shall they be called.
[10 As for the spirits of heaven, in heaven shall be their dwelling, but as for the spirits of the earth which were born upon the earth, on the earth shall be their dwelling.]
11 And the spirits of the giants afflict, oppress, destroy, attack, do battle, and work destruction on the earth, and cause trouble: they take no food, ⌈but nevertheless hunger⌉ and thirst, and cause offences. And these spirits shall rise up against the children of men and against the women, because they have proceeded ⌈from them⌉.
The future judgment of the demons
Enoch 16:1-4
1 From the days of the slaughter and destruction and death ⌈of the giants⌉, from the souls of whose flesh the spirits, having gone forth, shall destroy without incurring judgement–thus shall they destroy until the day of the consummation, the great ⌈judgement⌉ in which the age shall be consummated, over the Watchers and the godless, yea, shall be wholly consummated.”
2 And now as to the Watchers who have sent thee to intercede for them, who had been ⌈⌈aforetime⌉⌉ in heaven, (say to them): “You have been in heaven, but ⌈all⌉ the mysteries had not yet been revealed to you, and you knew worthless ones, and these in the hardness of your hearts you have made known to the women, and through these mysteries women and men work much evil on earth.”
4 Say to them therefore: “You have no peace.”‘
Cainan (Seth's line) rules over the demons, prophesies, and reigns over the earthv
Jasher 2:11b-14
11b for Cainan was a very wise man and had understanding in all wisdom, and with his wisdom he ruled over spirits and demons;
12 And Cainan knew by his wisdom that God would destroy the sons of men for having sinned upon earth, and that the Lord would in the latter days bring upon them the waters of the flood.
13 And in those days Cainan wrote upon tablets of stone, what was to take place in time to come, and he put them in his treasures.
14 And Cainan reigned over the whole earth, and he turned some of the sons of men to the service of God.

Enoch teaches Methuselah secret things
Enoch 83:1-11
1 And now, my son Methuselah, I will show thee all my visions which I have seen, recounting them before thee.
2 Two visions I saw before I took a wife, and the one was quite unlike the other: the first when I was learning to write: the second before I took thy mother, (when) I saw a terrible vision. And regarding them I prayed to the[paragraph continues]Lord.
3 I had laid me down in the house of my grandfather Mahalalel, (when) I saw in a vision how the heaven collapsed and was borne off and fell to the earth.
4 And when it fell to the earth I saw how the earth was swallowed up in a great abyss, and mountains were suspended on mountains, and hills sank down on hills, and high trees were rent from their stems, and hurled down and sunk in the abyss.
5 And thereupon a word fell into my mouth, and I lifted up (my voice) to cry aloud, and said: ‘The earth is destroyed.’
6 And my grandfather Mahalalel waked me as I lay near him, and said unto me: ‘Why dost thou cry so, my son, and why dost thou make such lamentation?’
7 And I recounted to him the whole vision which I had seen, and he said unto me: ‘A terrible thing hast thou seen, my son, and of grave moment is thy dream-vision as to the secrets of all the sin of the earth: it must sink into the abyss and be destroyed with a great destruction.
8 And now, my son, arise and make petition to the Lord of glory, since thou art a believer, that a remnant may remain on the earth, and that He may not destroy the whole earth.
9 My son, from heaven all this will come upon the earth, and upon the earth there will be great destruction.
10 After that I arose and prayed and implored and besought, and wrote down my prayer for the generations of the world, and I will show everything to thee, my son Methuselah.
11 And when I had gone forth below and seen the heaven, and the sun rising in the east, and the moon setting in the west, and a few stars, and the whole earth, and everything as †He had known† it in the beginning, then I blessed the Lord of judgement and extolled Him because He had made the sun to go forth from the windows of the east, †and he ascended and rose on the face of the heaven, and set out and kept traversing the path shown unto him.

iv. Jesus quoted Enoch 15:6-7 in Matthew 22:29-30.
v. Cainan became wise when he was 40, which was year 365 and about 100 years before the angels descended. The spirits and demons aren’t mentioned until after Enoch learns about them. Y: 688 | YHWH calls Enoch out of retirement, teaches him wisdom, and Enoch becomes king
Jasher 3:3-12
After many years passed while Enoch was serving the Lord and praying in his home, an angel of the Lord called out to him from Heaven. Enoch replied, “Here am I.”
The angel said, “Get up, leave your house and the place where you’ve been hiding, and go to the sons of men. Teach them how they should live and what work they must do to follow the ways of God.”
Enoch got up just as the Lord had commanded. He left his home, his hiding place, and the room where he had been concealed. He went to the people and taught them the ways of the Lord. At that time, he gathered the sons of men and instructed them in the Lord’s teachings. He gave a public message in every place where people lived, saying, “Whoever wants to learn the ways of the Lord and do good, let him come to Enoch.”
All the sons of men came to him. Everyone who wanted to learn went to Enoch. He ruled over them according to the word of the Lord. They came and bowed before him and listened to what he said. The Spirit of God was on Enoch, and he taught them God’s wisdom and His ways. The people served the Lord all through Enoch’s life and came to hear his wisdom.
All the kings of the people, from first to last, along with their princes and judges, came to Enoch when they heard of his wisdom. They bowed down to him and asked him to be their king. Enoch agreed, and 130 kings and princes gathered together and made him king over them. They placed themselves under his rule and authority.
Enoch taught them wisdom, knowledge, and the ways of the Lord. He brought peace among them, and there was peace throughout the earth during Enoch’s lifetime. He reigned for 243 years, doing what was just and right for his people and guiding them in the ways of the Lord.
Enoch learns to write, learns special wisdom, and prophesies
Jubilees 4:17-19
He was the first man born on earth to learn writing, knowledge, and wisdom. He recorded the signs of heaven based on the order of the months in a book, so that people could know the seasons of the year according to each month’s pattern. He was the first to write a testimony, and he testified to the people of his time and future generations. He counted the weeks of the jubilees, taught them about the days of the year, arranged the months, and explained the Sabbath years just as they were revealed to him.
He saw in a dream what had happened and what was going to happen to the children of men throughout their generations, all the way to the day of judgment. He understood it all and wrote down his testimony, placing it on the earth for all people and their future descendants.
Enoch spends time with the angels of God
Jubilees 4:21
He also spent 6 jubilees of years with the angels of God. They showed him everything on earth and in heaven, including the path of the sun, and he wrote it all down.
Climax
Enoch’s prophecy of the end times
Enoch 1:1-9
These are the words of Enoch’s blessing, which he spoke over the elect and righteous who will be alive during the time of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed. He began his message and said:
“Enoch, a righteous man whose eyes were opened by God, saw a vision of the Holy One in the heavens. The angels showed it to me, and I heard everything from them and understood it as I saw. But it wasn’t meant for this generation—it’s for a future one still to come.
About the elect, I said, and I began to speak about them: The Holy Great One will come from His dwelling, and the eternal God will walk on the earth, even on Mount Sinai. He will appear from His camp in great power, coming down from the highest heaven. Everyone will be struck with fear. The Watchers will tremble, and great fear and dread will grip the ends of the earth.
The tallest mountains will shake, the high hills will be made low, and they will melt like wax before a flame. The earth will be split apart, and everything on it will be destroyed. A judgment will come upon all people.
But He will bring peace to the righteous and protect the elect. Mercy will be given to them. They will all belong to God. They will thrive and be blessed. He will help them, and light will shine upon them, and He will make peace with them.
Look! He is coming with tens of thousands of His holy ones to carry out judgment on everyone—to destroy all the ungodly, and to convict all flesh for all their ungodly deeds which they’ve committed, and for all the harsh words that ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”
Enoch called to testify against the Watchers
Enoch 12:1-6
Before these things happened, Enoch had been hidden away, and none of the children of men knew where he was, where he lived, or what had happened to him. His work was with the Watchers, and his time was spent among the holy ones.
And I, Enoch, was blessing the Lord of majesty and the King of the ages, when suddenly the Watchers called out to me—Enoch the scribe—and said:
“Enoch, scribe of righteousness, go and declare to the Watchers of heaven—those who left the high, holy, and eternal heaven, who defiled themselves with women and acted like the children of earth by taking wives for themselves:
‘You’ve brought great destruction to the earth. You will find no peace and no forgiveness for your sins. Even though you take joy in your children, you will witness their deaths. You’ll see the ruin of your beloved ones and mourn for them. You’ll plead for eternity, but mercy and peace will never be yours.’”
Enoch testifies against the Watchers
Jubilees 4:22, Enoch 13:1-10
Enoch testified against the Watchers who had sinned with the daughters of men. These beings had begun to corrupt themselves by joining with human women, and Enoch confronted them all.
He said, “Azazel, you will have no peace. A harsh sentence has been issued against you—to be bound. You will receive no mercy, and your request will not be granted because of the unrighteousness you taught, and all the godless, sinful acts you led men to commit.”
Then I spoke to them all together, and they were terrified. Fear and trembling overtook them. They pleaded with me to write a petition for them so they might be forgiven and to read it in the presence of the Lord of heaven. From that point on, they couldn’t speak with Him or even lift their eyes to heaven out of shame for their sins, which had brought condemnation on them. So I wrote their petition—the prayer concerning their spirits and their deeds, each one’s request for forgiveness and a longer life.
Then I left and sat by the waters of Dan, in the land of Dan, south of the western side of Mount Hermon. I read their petition until I fell asleep. Then a dream came to me, and visions appeared. I saw visions of punishment, and a voice commanded me to go tell it to the Watchers and rebuke them.
When I woke up, I went to them. They were all sitting together, weeping in Abel-jahar, which is between Lebanon and Seneser, their faces covered. I told them all the visions I had seen in the dream, and I began to speak words of righteousness and correction to the heavenly Watchers.
Enoch’s dream about the Watchers
Enoch 14:1-25
This is the book containing the words of righteousness and the rebuke of the eternal Watchers, as given by the command of the Holy Great One in a vision.
I saw in my sleep what I’m about to tell you, using this human tongue and the breath God gave mankind to speak and understand. Just as He created men to understand wisdom, He created me and gave me the power to rebuke the Watchers, the sons of heaven.
I wrote your petition, and in my vision, I saw this: your petition will not be granted—not for all eternity. Judgment has already been passed on you. Your request will not be granted. From now on, you will never return to heaven. You are bound by decree on the earth for the rest of time. Before that, you will witness the destruction of your beloved sons. You will take no joy in them, for they will fall by the sword right before your eyes. Your plea on their behalf will not be heard, nor will your own. Even if you weep, pray, and speak every word written in the petition, nothing will change.
In my vision, I was shown this: clouds summoned me, a mist called to me, the stars and lightning moved quickly around me, and the winds lifted me up and carried me into heaven.
I came to a wall made of crystals, surrounded by tongues of fire, and I was afraid. I entered the fire and approached a great house made of crystal. The walls looked like a tiled floor of crystals, and the foundation was crystal. The ceiling looked like the path of the stars and lightning, with fiery cherubim between them. The sky above them was as clear as water. A blazing fire surrounded the walls, and the doors burned with flames.
I entered that house, and it was hot like fire and cold like ice. There was nothing of life’s pleasures there. Fear overwhelmed me, and trembling seized me. I fell face down, shaking.
Then I saw another house—bigger than the first. Its whole entrance was open before me, and it was made entirely of flames. It was so glorious, magnificent, and vast that I cannot describe its beauty or size. The floor was fire, above it lightning, and the stars moved across it. The ceiling too was flaming fire.
I looked and saw a lofty throne inside. It looked like crystal, and the wheels were like a shining sun. I saw cherubim surrounding it. From beneath the throne flowed streams of fire too bright for me to look at.
The Great Glory sat on the throne. His robe shone brighter than the sun and was whiter than any snow. No angel could enter to see His face because of His overwhelming majesty and glory. No flesh could look upon Him. A blazing fire surrounded Him. A great fire stood in front of Him, and none nearby could approach Him. 10,000 times 10,000 stood before Him, yet He needed no advisor. The most holy ones who stood near Him never left, day or night.
I was still facedown, trembling, when the Lord called to me with His own voice: “Come here, Enoch, and hear My word.”
One of the holy ones came and woke me up. He helped me stand and approach the door. I bowed low with my face to the ground.
The judgment against the Watchers and the origin of demons
Enoch 15:1-11
He answered me, and I heard His voice:
“Do not be afraid, Enoch, you righteous man and scribe of righteousness. Come near and listen to My voice. Go and tell the Watchers of heaven, the ones who sent you to plead for them: You should be the ones pleading for mankind, not the other way around. Why did you abandon the high, holy, and eternal heaven to sleep with women and defile yourselves with the daughters of men? You took wives and behaved like humans, fathering giant sons.
You were once holy and spiritual, living eternal lives, but now you’ve defiled yourselves with the blood of women. You’ve fathered children from flesh and blood, and now you crave what mortal men crave—flesh and blood, though you weren’t meant to die. That’s why I gave men wives—to bear children and continue life on earth. But you, being spiritual, didn’t need wives. Your dwelling was supposed to be in heaven.
Now the giants born from the union of spirits and flesh will be called evil spirits on the earth. Their home will be on earth. Evil spirits have come from their bodies, born from men and the holy Watchers. That’s their origin—and they will be called evil spirits on earth.
Spirits born in heaven will dwell in heaven. But spirits born on earth will stay on earth. These spirits from the giants will oppress, destroy, fight, and cause chaos. They don’t eat or drink but remain hungry and thirsty, and they cause sin. They will rise up against men and women, because they came from them.”
The future judgment of the demons
Enoch 16:1-4
“From the day of the giants’ slaughter and destruction, the spirits that left their bodies will destroy others without facing judgment—until the final day, the great judgment that will bring the end of this age. That judgment will be upon the Watchers and the godless and will bring everything to completion.
As for the Watchers who sent you to plead for them—those who used to be in heaven—tell them: You were in heaven, but you didn’t understand all the mysteries. You chose to reveal the worthless ones, and in your stubbornness, you taught them to women. Through these forbidden mysteries, men and women now commit great evil on the earth.
Tell them plainly: ‘You have no peace.'”
Falling Action
Cainan (Seth’s line) rules over the demons, prophesies, and reigns over the earth
Jasher 2:11b-14
Cainan was a very wise man, with deep understanding in all matters of wisdom. Through his wisdom, he had authority over spirits and demons. He understood that God would one day destroy the sons of men because of their sin on the earth, and that in the later days, the Lord would bring a flood upon them. In those days, Cainan recorded on stone tablets what would happen in the future, and he stored them among his treasures. Cainan ruled over the whole earth and led some of the sons of men to serve God.

Resolution
Enoch teaches Methuselah secret things
Enoch 83:1-11
Now, my son Methuselah, I will show you all the visions I’ve seen and explain them to you. I saw two visions before I took a wife, and they were completely different from each other. The first came when I was learning to write. The second happened before I took your mother, and it was a terrifying vision. I prayed to the Lord about them. I was lying down in the house of my grandfather Mahalalel when I saw in a vision the sky collapsing. It was carried off and fell to the earth. When it hit the ground, I saw the earth swallowed up by a huge abyss. Mountains were stacked on top of mountains, hills sank into other hills, and tall trees were ripped from their roots and thrown down, sinking into the abyss.
Then, a word came into my mouth, and I cried out, “The earth is destroyed!”
My grandfather Mahalalel woke me as I lay beside him and asked, “Why are you crying out, my son? What’s causing you such distress?”
I told him the entire vision I had seen. He said, “What you’ve seen is terrible, my son. Your dream is about the secrets behind all the sin on the earth—it must sink into the abyss and be wiped out with great destruction. Now, get up and plead with the Lord of Glory, since you are faithful, that a remnant might remain on the earth and that He won’t destroy it entirely. My son, everything you saw will come from heaven and cause massive devastation on the earth.”
After that, I stood up, prayed, begged, and pleaded with the Lord, and I wrote down my prayer for future generations. I will show everything to you, my son Methuselah. When I went out and looked up at the sky, I saw the sun rising in the east, the moon setting in the west, and a few stars. I looked at the whole earth and everything in it, just as God had made it in the beginning. I blessed the Lord of Judgment and praised Him, because He made the sun come out through the windows of the east. It rose up, crossed the sky, and followed the path that was shown to it.
