The Harmony of Genesis

Upon recognizing the considerable similarities between the books of Enoch, Jasher, Jubilees, and the Book of Genesis, I resolved to explore a method of integrating these texts, akin to the approach taken with the Harmony of the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. My objectives included not only the synthesis of these texts but also the identification of any discrepancies between them. This analysis aims to assess whether these additional books warrant concurrent study with the Bible.

Following my preliminary research, I resolved to segment the Harmony of Genesis into distinct categories: Sagas, Arcs, Sub-Arcs, and Plot Points. To enhance engagement, I sought to infuse the descriptions with a dynamic and compelling tone, leveraging AI assistance to achieve this effect. Each title is generally encapsulated in a single word that encapsulates the narrative essence, thereby contributing an additional layer of intrigue.

This compilation, which integrates four historical texts, has been assembled for the benefit of individuals seeking to deepen their understanding of significant events in world history. As a devout adherent of YHWH, I regard the Bible as my ultimate authoritative source.

I have employed a color-coding system for the texts to facilitate easier reference and have included footnotes to elucidate any potential contradictions. I invite you to review my work with an open mind and to inform me of any discrepancies that I may have overlooked. Should you encounter what appears to be a contradiction, I would appreciate any insights you can offer that might resolve it. Additionally, if you believe that the sequence of the texts could be improved, please advise accordingly. Please remember that this compilation is intended for educational purposes, and I aim to ensure its accuracy to the highest degree.

How can you get the most from this research?

You’ll notice that the research is divided into sagas, arcs, sub-arcs, and plot points. Each saga has a summary of its contents. Each Arc also has a summary of its contents.

Once you click on a sub-arc, you’ll be presented with 5 tabs: Summary, Outline, Text, Combined, and Chart.

The Summary tab will summarize the sub-arc and list out all the characters that are mentioned. You can click on these characters to learn more information about them.

The Outline tab will display percentages as to how often a particular book is contained within the sub-arc. It also breaks down the plot points along with just the titles and verses of each section.

The Text tab will be the primary place of study. It displays the text in a side-by-side format so that you can compare these ancient texts with one another in chronological order. There will also be footnotes at the bottom of this section which contains my observations of the text.

The Combined tab will be the primary place to read the contents of the sub-arc and enjoy learning. I’ve taken each text and combined it into easy to read paragraphs. The goal was to keep as must details as possible from the original text and make it easier to read than the original text.

The Chart tab shows a chart of all the people who are alive during the time frame of the sub-arc. You can click on each person’s node and rearrange it.
